Founding Partner
Jan brings 10+ years of experience primarily in the field of private equity and private credit within the CEE & SEE region. He held various roles, starting as an Investment Manager specialising in M&A at the family private equity office Odyssey 44.
Later, as a shareholder representative, Jan held both non-executive and executive roles as Managing Director and Finance Director within portfolio companies, with a focus on the insurance and retail sectors. As a member of the top management team, Jan oversaw business development, strategic transformation and finance agendas.
Before joining Odyssey 44, he contributed to APS where he held a senior role in the valuations team with a focus on financial modelling and investment management. Jan holds a PhDr. degree from Charles University in Prague, with a specialisation in Banking, Finance and Financial Markets.
